Abstract
Thermal stability of the organic heat stabilizer with Ca/Zn in PVC was investigated by means of thermogravimetry, and the synergistic effect of different auxiliary heat stabilizers were studied. The results showed that the organic heat stabilizer with Ca/Zn was more effective than the stabilizers with low Pb and Ca/Zn stearate for color changing time of PVC.The synergistic effect of β-diketone was the best and thermal stability of heat stabilizer in PVC with oxygen present was almost the same as that with nitrogen present.
