On Aesthetic Education in Modern People's Life

Abstract
Based on technological reason, modern social life, with a premise and foundation of stressing people's desire for material happiness, has created advanced industry and commercial civilization, which is undoubtedly of goodness and rightfulness. But it has, to some degree, obliterated individual characteristic and made individuals functionalized , standardized and regularized. So aesthetic education can balance people's excessive desire for material and man's characteristics by its unique non utilitarianism and transcendentalism, recall poetry to modern life and play a special role in saving the technological world.
