Abstract

We have Advanced BIC TCP to solve the problem that TCP faced in HighSpeed networks. The algorithm adjusts window increment in max probing by monitoring the change of bottleneck buffer and sets slow start Threshold and congestion window to the estimated bandwidth and minimum RTT product to decrease the congestion of rate of network and avoid buffer overflow caused by high speed data flow. The experiment results show that the new algorithm works well in the HighSpeed networks.
