Abstract

The principle of the new type of frequency synthesis (Direct Digital Synthesis, DDS)is introduced. Two methods of realizing frequency synthesizer with DDS and (PLL) Phase Locked Loop are discussed, and a microwave frequency synthesizer is designed.
