Abstract

Taking into account the commonly seen phenomenon of incomplete recovery of waste heat from reactors a multi-stage system of reaction heat recovery is proposed based on a single-stage system of waste heat recovery. With the net power output serving as an objective function an optimization of the multi-stage recovery system was conducted. It can be demonstrated that the multi-stage system of waste heat recovery is markedly superior as compared to the single-stage one in terms of heat recovery efficiency.
