Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer associated with neuroendocrine, and prognosis was analyzed. Methods Clinical and pathdogical data of 280 cases of colorectal cancer in Anyang City People's Hospital from May 2001 to May 2007 were made retrospective analysis. Clinical and pathological data of with and without clinical comparison neuroendocrine cell differentiation in both groups of pationts were compared. Results Totally 280 cases of colorectal cancer in 25 patients with neuroendocrine cell differentiation, which CgA positive18 cases( 72%),Syn- positive 15 cases( 60%),CgA and Syn while positive in 8 cases. Conclusion The occurrence of colorectal cancer cell neuroendocrine differentiation mechanism is not yet fully clear, immunohistochemical staining is an effective way to diagnose colorectal colorectal cancer with neuroendocrine differentiation, neuroendocrine differentiation may become one of the important factors of poor prognosis in colorectal cancer.
