Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical and experimental effect of moxibustion on diarrhea-dominated irritable bowel syndrome(D-IBS).Methods:①227 patients with D-IBS were randomly divided into the Suspended Moxibustion group and the Herb-partition Moxibustion group.Clinical evaluation and follow-up visit were analyzed after the whole treatment.②The rat model of IBS was established and the abdominal withdrawal reflex(AWR)was used to evaluate visceral pain.Results:There was no difference between the two groups:effective rate was 88.70%in the Suspended Moxibustion group and the other was 88.39%;Moxibustion significantly decreased AWR in this rat model.Conclusion:①Moxibustion has clinic curative effect on D-IBS.②Moxibustion can significantly enhance pain threshold of rats with IBS.
