Abstract
The regulatory effects of different potassium fertilizer varieties on senescence of photosynthetic function, leaves and roots at late stages of rice growth were studied by using early rice Xiangliangyou 68 as tested material. The results showed that all tested potassium fertilizer varieties could maintain higher activity of SOD in leaves, higher chlorophyll content in leaves and stronger activity of root system, therefore they could delay senescence of leaf and root of rice.Applying sulfate potassium magnesium fertilizer had better effects than applying potassium sulfate and potassium chloride in delaying senescence, increasing rice yield by 2.4% and 2.8% respectively.
