Scalable Algorithm for Management of Web Server Cluster

Abstract

How to supervise Web server according to the variation of workload is one of new problems in application of Internet. In order to respond users on Internet punctually,more and more websites adopt the technology of web server cluster. This paper discusses the behavior property of network task on web server,proposes a new management algorithm for Web server cluster with the queuing theory. This algorithm realizes the scalable management of Web server cluster by adjusting the number of server.
