Abstract
With the rapid development of Linux and the wide application of real-time operating systems, more and more efforts are put on issues to the real-time Linux. In this paper,we introduce four methods to improve the real-time Linux. Then we analyze the main implementations of two promising real-time Linux, namely RT-Linux and Kurt-Linux.We also present their characteristics as well as the differences between them.
