Investigation on 645 anti-TP positive blood donors' donation situation in Handan city

Objective To analysis the situation of co-infection of HBV,HCV and HIV in anti-TP(Treponema pallidum antigens in serum test) positive blood donors,and test results for ALT,to provide guarantee for blood safety.Methods To collect the data of 277,724 blood donors in Handan during 2009-2012,analyze and research the blood donation numbers,incorporating other infections situation of 645 samples Using SPSS13.0 software to do statistics,and to conduct χ2test.Results There are statistically significant difference on Anti-TP positive between the first time and multiple time blood donors,first-time donor's syphilis positive rate is higher than the multiple time donors(P 0.05).Between Anti-TP positive blood donors and negative,checked out HBsAg and anti-HIV difference is statistically significant(P 0.05);anti-HCV and unqualified ALT has no statistically difference(P 0.05).Conclusions Co-infection of blood transmitted diseases risk of syphilis positive blood donors is higher than healthy blood donors,to establish regular blood donation team is more in favor of the blood safety.
