Abstract
Based on equal precision frequency principle, this design avoids traditional cymometer's defect that precision declines as the frequency measured declines. This design uses FPGA chip and VHDL program to improve the stability of frequency detecting system and realize equal precision measurement of frequency, period, pulse width and duty ratio. It is proved that the system has better practicability and reliability.
