Abstract
This study was carried out on the basis of French crossbred Muscovy (F) as its male parent and cherry grain duck (Y), Jinding duck and the filial generation of cherry grain duck crossed with Jinding duck (J) as female parent. And the two parents made up the three hybridized combinations which produced crossbred Muscovy by artificial insemination. When observing the growthiness, viability, dressing percentage and economic benefits of these various crossbred Muscovy, we found that the weight, ratio of meat to forage, dressing percentage, economic benefits and other indexes of the ten-week-old F-Y crossbred Muscovy were superior to the other two, the second place was the F-Y-J crossbred Muscovy and the last was the F-J crossbred Muscovy.
