Abstract

The modernization of legal system in India is a process that transplant western legal system.After British law was introduced,the process of legal modernization in India was pushed forward.India modern society was injected democracy,freedom,equality,rights and other modern basic spirit which facilitated social transformation,but some social vices were not solved.Many negative factors of traditional culture still disturb society of India and its people,Poverty,oppression and corruption is exist,it has long way to go for achieving all the targets of social equality and freedom.
