Abstract

The formation of lots lead-zinc ore deposits in northeastern Yunnan province is due to its favorable geological conditions:the wall-rock is mainly composing of carbonate and sand or mudstone interlayer which is formed in littoral and shallow-marine environments, and which can provide ore-bearing strata and barrier bed for the mineralization;the complex structure movement in this area which is situated in thrusting nappe geological block and derived faults and fold structure is induced lots of magma intrusion which can provide ore-forming elements;the structure movement combined the magmatic hydrothermal activity which are provide the hot and source for lead-zinc mineralization in northeast Yunnan province.
