Abstract
In this paper, the performances of static equilibrium adsorption of high-crosslinked resin NDA-150 for adsorbing 2-aminopyridine were studied, and the adsorption thermodynamic properties were discussed according to the adsorption isotherms.Estimations of the enthalpy change, free energy change, and entropy change of adsorption were reported, and the adsorption performances were interpreted reasonably.Within temperature range of 283~303 K and concentration range, the adsorption data fitted well into the Freundlich equation.Adsorption isotherms indicated that the process of adsorption of 2-aminopyridine from aqueous solution by NDA-150 resin was an exothermic process.
