Free Vascularised Thin Cortex Bone-periosteum Flap in Treatment of Bong Nonunion

Abstract

Objective To explore new treatment of bone nonunion. Methods Cases of bone defects and bone nonunion were repaired with free vaseularised thin cortex bone-periosteum flap. Results Since 2001.6-2005.12. ]3 cases of bone nonunion were treated by above mentioned method with satisfactory results. Conclusion The above mentioned technique could be a safe and effect method for repairing bone nonunion. It has the advantages of reliable blood supply and few complications.
