Abstract
Objective To explore the differential diagnosis value of color Doppler ultrasound in hashimoto thyroiditis and hyperthyroidism. Methods 30 patients with hyperthyroidism and 30 patients suffered from hashimoto thyroiditis, and 30 healthy persons(control group) were selected in our hospital. They were examined by color Doppler ultrasound for thyroid.Indexes like peak systolic velocity(PSV),time to peak velocity(T),resistance index(RI),and heart rate(HR),etc. were compared among three groups. Results The values of PSV and HR in hyperthyroidism were higher than those in the control group and thyroiditis group, while the values of T and T/HR were lower in comparison with those in the other two groups, which displayed statistical differences(P0.05). Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound in the differential diagnosis hashimoto thyroiditis and hyperthyroidism has high specificity and sensitivity,it can be used widely in clinic.
