Abstract
The configuration of missile was simplified, the electromagnetism scattering model of missile was built.High-frequency techniques including physical optics(PO),method of equivalent currents(MEC),and geometrical optics(GO) were used to calculate the radar cross section(RCS) of various scattering-centers of this model. The total RCS of the missile with olive-shape warhead was calculated considering the phase contributions of scattering-centers,the results is in accordance with the measured result given by references. It is showed that the method is effective. Then, the missile's RCS under other polarization modes on different observation plane of missile was calculated, and the effect of observation plane and polarization modes on missile's RCS was analyzed.
