Abstract
A combination of heaven and men is not only the noblest state of what the Chinese culture has been pursuing, but the highest ideal in life set by the Chinese people. This article, based on the vision of history and cultural philosophy, mainly expounds the noblest state of the Chinese culture, that is, the formation, process of development and forms of ultimate direction, roots for theory of knowledge and theory of value, as well as the primitive basis of thinking. It tries hard to reveal the characteristic of the Chinese culture.
