Abstract

In history,Jin( Shanxi) Merchants of Ming and Qing dynasties regarded the real historical figure Guan Yu as one of their gods,which deeply influenced their value orientation and behavior choice.The behavior of the merchants has the characteristic of strong rationality.The paper studies the relationship between the worship to Guan Yu and the spirit of Jin Merchants in Ming and Qing dynasties from three aspects,including individual internal dependence,group value recognition,and external interpretation of business culture.
