Hierarchical tree queries mechanism in relation database system

Abstract
In most relational database application system,it's structure and query obviously shows the characteristic of hierarchy.While in the database query,it is very cumbersome to query the hierarchical data structure by using the normal query function.Now the oracle9i and the above version,SQL server 2005 brought in a new method of hierarchical tree query-Hierarchical tree query.Hierarchical tree query is a solution to the problem of the hierarchical data query in the relation database,it can easily handle the complex hierarchical query.The case of the department structure of a company is taken to research and the mechanism of this new method is analyzed based on Oracle9i.
