Abstract
The paper mainly applies panel data model and related test methods to analyze the relationship between China's urbanization and economic growth by using panel data of thirty provinces of China from 1978 to 2006.According to our analysis,it concludes that China's economic growth is dependent on urbanization in the long run,whereas China's urbanization is not dependent on economic growth.At last,we put forward some suggestions on how to improve urbanization.
