Abstract

Chemical composition of propolis has become a hotspot in the field of propolis research all over the world in recent years.In this article new compounds isolated from propolis between 2008 and 2012 were classified.The name and the geographical origins of propolis were listed,in order to provide a theoretical basis for studying the chemical composition of propolis,identifying the plant origins and controlling the quality.A total of 144 new compositions including 68 flavonoids,38 terpenoids and 38 phenols were identified.
