Abstract

Firstly, the inherent default of the perimeter firewall is pointed out in the paper. Then the architecture of the distributed firewall is introduced, and its operational principle is discussed at the same time. In the paper a practical example is given. Practice shows that the distributed firewall not only succeeds to the all virtue of the perimeter firewall, but also improves mostly on its lack.
