Abstract
Practice teaching is an effective way to enhance the educational quality of higher vocational colleges and schools, and to foster the comprehensive quality of their students. It is also a basic measure of being capable of continued development of higher vocational education, and plays an important part in higher educational system. This paper, starting from the connotation of the practice teaching system in higher vocational education, analyses the present situation and existing problems in the practice teaching of higher vocational education, and goes deeply into the principles governing the setting up of the practice teaching system of higher vocational education in order to help advance the durable and sound development of higher vocational education.
