“Two Great Advances”:Deng Xiaoping and China's Contemporary Developmental Strategies in Agriculture

Deng Xiaoping theory in agricultural development contains two theoretical advances. They are: responsibility system of family operation under contract, and collective economy by developing socialized larger scale production based on operation of the family. This is Deng Xiaoping's contribution to Marxist theories of the system of public ownership, which has tremendous influence on agricultural development in China.
