Medicinal Plant Resources of Lushan Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province

A survey of medicinal plant resources revealed that there exists 1 859 species of medicinal plants,including 328 species of common traditional medicinal plants in Lushan Nature Reserve of Jiangxi province.There are 4 species of medicinal algae,22 species of medical fungi,10 species of medical mosses,21 species of lichens,131 species of medical pteridophytes,1 611 species of medical spermatophytes,137 species of rare and endangered plants,more than 180 species of medical ornamentals,and 169 species of medical animals and agricultural pharmacetics in this district.Moreover,24 species of new distribution in Jiangxi were found,24 Species of model samples and 25 species were named Lushan or Guling.The development and utilization of medicinal plant resources in the reserve were also introduced.
