Abstract

BACKGROUND*!To study the main cause of rupture of corpus luteum misdiagnosed as heterotopic pregnancy. *!CASE REPORT*! 20 cases of rupture of corpus luteum misdiagnosed as heterotopic pregnancy were retrospectively analyzed. The rupture of corpus luteum was easily misdiagnosed as heterotopic pregnancy when menstrual cycle prolonged or incoagulable blood abstracted by culdocentesis. *!DISCUSSION*! The clinical manifestation of rupture of corpus luteum is alike with the heterotopic pregnancy, and it therefore must be pay attention to the differential diagnosis.
