Abstract
Objective To assess the outcome of preservation of the filtration bleb in eyes undergoing different incision of conjunctiva flap in trabeculectomy. Methods Choosed 68 eyes of 62 cases of primary angle-closure glaucoma were randomly divided into 3 groups. A group:23 eyes underwent large size of 5mm×10mm:B group:22eyes enderwent normal size of 5mm×7mm conjunctiva flap; C group:23 eyes underwent large size of 5mm×10mm conjunctiva flap with corneal limbal running suture. We observed the outcome of preservation of the filtration bleb in eyes and resolution of the blebassociated complication Evaluation effect of intraocular pressure in 3 groups. Results The drainage channel scar only outcomed in 7 eyes (31.81%) of B group; large filterability during early postoperative outcomed in 7 eyes (30.40%) of A group, outcomed in 2 eyes (9.09%) of B group, outcomed in 2 eyes (8.70%) of C group. In stable postoperative phase, the preservation of the bleb in eyes A group (30.40%)B group (9.0%) C group (8.70%). Conclusions The preservation of the filtration bleb in eyes undergoing large incision of conjunctiva flap with corneal limbal running suture in trabeculectomy often provides successful. [
