Preparation of silicone resin by emulsion polymerization and its application

Abstract

Hydroxysiloxane oil and methyltriethoxysilane were used to prepare silicone resin emulsion by anionic emulsion polymerization method.The influence of the reaction conditions(catalyst amounts,emulsifier,reaction time and raw material ratio) on the emulsion stability was analyzed to form an optimal process.The application of the emulsion on textiles was also investigated primarily.
