Abstract

The theories behind landscape planning,landscape urbanism and new initiatives on sustainability and resilience will be reviewed and illustrated with selected two international applications to urban planning and design. The new methods and practices in planning and design were proposed to address the profound challenges towards sustainable and resilient urbanism.
