Effect of Plastic Mulching Irrigation on Soil Moisture Variation and Plant Growth

The plastic mulching irrigation is an important technique in dryland farming,which can increase temperature and conserve soil moisture.The test demonstrated that the plastic mulching irrigation not only can promot regional soil temperature,but also can save water and raise the uniformity of irrigation water application. The result shows that the using rate of soil water is as follows. The wheat of winter irrigation without plastic mulchingthe wheat without winter irrigation and plastic mulchingthe wheat in drylandthe wheat with plastic mulching.
