Abstract

Grid Computing is an important new field and a new network computing platform that has been emerged after the World Wide Web.The Purpose is to provide a infrastructure for comprehensive sharing resources,distinguished from conventional distributed computing.This article defines the new field,outlines the definition of grid computing,grid performance,architecture and function.At final,analyzes the applications of grid computing,status and development prospects in today.
