Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship between ciprofloxacin resistance and Quinolones resistance(QNR) gene in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Methods:The drug susceptibility tests of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to ciprofloxacin, gentamicin, piperacillin and cefotaxime were conducted by K-B method, and QNR genes were amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).Results:The percentage of ciprofloxacin resistance strain in Pseudomonas aeruginosa was 26.70%,and QNR gene was found in one strain isolation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Conclusion:Ciprofloxacin resistance is closely related with QNR gene in some Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains.
