Posterior Capsulotomy Via Pars Plana For Aftercataract

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical value of treading aftercataract with the posterior capsulotomy via pars plana . Methods 80 eyes of 73 cases with aftercataract after the implantation of IOL were treated with the posterior capsulotomy via pars plana. Results The postoperative visual acuity was better than that before aftercataract. The postoperative average visual acuity was 0.72 ± 0.36. The best corrected postoperative visual acuity was 0.5 or better in 62 eyes (77.5%), 1.0 or better in 25 eyes (31.5%). Conclusion The posterior capsulotomy via pars plana is easy 、safe 、effective method of treating, especially suitable to wide primary hospitals.
