Abstract

The political idea of liberalism has been the mainstream of the west social political thoughts,but as early as the year when classical liberalism was born,there are rarely new theories achievements,which lasted over a hundred years.It is not until the publishing of the theory of justice of Rawls that the vigorous theory vitality of political liberalism began to grow.The classical liberalism advocated that the individual enjoyed free and equal rights,but what the classical liberalism meant only limited to the formal equality.Rawls had re-explained the equality concept and endowed the substantive meaning to it,which made classical liberalism improved to a new theory level.
