Abstract
To meet the requirements of harmonic elimination and reactive power compensation in large power supply and power distribution system, the topology of the existed hybrid power filer is modified and a novel high capacity hybrid power filter based on injection circuit is proposed in this paper. The capacity of the active filter part is deeply reduced in this new hybrid power filter so that it can meet the project demands. The simulation and calculating results show that this new filter is good in performances in harmonic elimination and reactive power compensation. So,it is worthy to be used widely in large power supply and power distribution system.
