To Talk About DENG Xiao-ping′s Appraising Of MAO Ze-dong

Abstract

DENG Xiao-ping has deeply analyzed MAO Ze-dong′s achievements and faults in history in an all-round way and on this base, he gave a just and objective appraisal on MAO Ze-dong with the dialectical materialism and historical materialism standpoint, view and method. This appraisal embodied DENG Xiao-ping′s wide mind and noble sentiment as a remarkable politician. What's more, this appraisal supplied a solid theoretical foundation and the historical basis for the construction of DENG Xiao-ping Theory connected with the practice in contemporary China, which thus promoted the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics effectively.
