Abstract
This paper established the method for the content determination of strychnine and brucine in strychnos total alkaloids sustained-release tablets. HPLC was conducted on a Diamonsil C18( 250 mm ×4. 6 mm,5μm) with mobile phase consisted of Methanol-water-acetic acid-tri-ethylamine( 76∶ 230∶ 2. 4∶ 0. 3) at a flow rate of 1. 0 mL / min. The UV detection wavelength was set at 254 nm. The column temperature was 30 ℃. The linear range of strychnine and brucine was 1. 2 ~ 14. 4 μg / mL and 1. 0 ~ 12. 0 μg / mL with an average recovery of 99. 58%,99. 91%,The RSD of strychnine and brucine was 0. 57%,1. 15%.The method is simple and accurate for the content determination of strychnos sustained-release tablets.
