Abstract

The Tang Dynasty is called an open era in the history of Chinese feudal society. Its openness was reflected in various aspects of social life. The woman group also showed their distinctive style and features in this era. But as the oppressed stratum of the whole society, women in the Tang Dynasty still experienced all kinds of sufferings, which was somewhat reflected in poems of the Tang dynasty. There are many poems in the Tang Dynasty which described the destinies of maids in the imperial palace, wives of soldiers who went out to battle, wives of merchants, peasant women, deserted wives and singsong girls, and fully reflected unfortunate destinies of women in the Tang Dynasty.
