Abstract
In a medium of CH2ClCOOH-NH4Ac-HClO4,chromium(Ⅲ) reacts with arsenazo-DBS to form a blue complex with a composition of 1∶1(R∶M).The maximum absorption wavelength of the complex locates at 610 nm.The apparent molar absorptivity of the method for determing chromium is e610 nm =1.37 × 104L/(mol·cm).Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range of 0 ~1.0 μg/mL of chromium(Ⅲ).The present method has been satisfactorily applied to determine chromium in tea samples.
