Abstract
Objects To inspect progesterone's effects on learning and memory impairments induced by scopolamine hydrobromide (SCOP).Methods Morris water maze was used to measure the extent of improved mice's learning and memory impairment caused by SCOP with progesterone. Results The average time for mice swimming out of the Morris water maze was reduced after injection with progesterone 4-mg·kg -1 and 8-mg·kg -1 in mice. Conclusions Progesterone may improve learning and memory impairments caused by SCOP.
