Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effects of PTCA on left ventricular diastolic function.Methods There were 30 patients who were treated with PTCA.Doppler echocardiography parameters of left ventricular diastolic function were obtained before PTCA,during 3 d and 3 months after PTCA.Catheterization parameters were recorded before and immediatedly after PTCA.Results The improvement of left ventricular diastolic function was not found during 0 and 3 d after PTCA.However,compared with 3 d after PTCA,Doppler echocardiography parameters of the ventricular diastolic function got a significant improvement during 3 months after PTCA.Conclusion PTCA can improve left ventricular diastolic function during 3 months after operation.
