Abstract
New media art that leads contemporary international art development shows a strong momentum.Compared with the thriving scene of new media art,the construction of its theory and criticism lag behind and there is imbalancebetween art practice and art criticism. New media art shows an intimacy with art-media,which highlights the role of media. Media reform and the technological innovation affect the artistic concepts,art forms and art aesthetic. New media art practice calls for art-media criticism. Analysis of art media and art media criticism will help to establish media criticism theory of new media art.
