Analysis on Species Diversity of Cunninghamia lanceolata and Pinus massioniana Seminatural Mixed-forest in Two Sites

Abstract

[Objective] The research aimed to study the species diversity of semi-natural mixed-forest of Cunninghamia lanceolata and Pinus massioniana.[Method] The species diversity in two sites of semi-natural mixed-forest of C.lanceolata and P.massioniana was analyzed by Margalef's richness indices,Shannon-wiener's diversity index,Pielou's evenness.[Result] The results showed the richness,evenness and diversity indexes of down-slope forest were higher than up-slope forest.The species diversity of arbor and shrub layers was lower in the down-slope than that in the up-slope but the values of herb layers and liana were contrary.[Conclusion] When managing mixedforest of C.lanceolata and P.massioniana in mountainous area,it should to be done to differentiate site conditions,adjust reasonably population quantity and control relative proportion between them,which beneficial to protect and restore species diversity.
