Abstract

Logging is one of the important technology in shale gas reservoir EP.On the basis of North American successful EP examples,analyzed is the main difference between shale gas and conventional oil/gas evaluation.According to the demand of shale gas EP,discussed is the basis of selecting logging series and items of log evaluation technology,and pointed out the next key study on shale gas that is mainly around how to determine mineral element of shale,evaluate reservoir structure,build reserve standard,identify types of shale fracture,and evaluate parameters of rock mechanics,etc.Our study shows that logging evaluation on deep depth is the biggest difference between China and overseas,and it's also the core question on shale gas logging evaluation in China.
