Setting of variogram parameters in reservoir modeling

The selection and parameter setting of variogram model is the important factor of affecting the accuracy of reservoir modeling.Variogram reflects the spatial variability from different perspectives through itself structure and parameters.It is described how to determine a reasonable method for setting parameters in the process of fitting experiment variogram,and the general flow of determining experimental variogram is presented.At last,the determining variogram method is veried by a practical example of oilfield.The testing result shows that using the method can easily obtain a sound and accurate experiment variogram.
