Abstract

Therapeutic methods of Chinese herbs to fifth-watch diarrhea mainly included syndrome differentiation and treatment,single herb,compound preparation,Chinese patent medicine,and umbilical compression with traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture and massage for treatment on fifth-watch diarrhea contained acupuncture,moxibustion,acupuncture in combination with moxibustion,manipulation,and acupuncture combined with Chinese herbs. We also pointed out existing problems and solution in this article. We thought that a broad prospect of treatment and prophylaxis on fifth-watch diarrhea with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)emerging.
