Under the background of rapid urbanization,planning and constructing new town in addition to the existing city area and the formation of multi-group city spatial pattern has become a trend.With the case study of the landscape construction of Taihu New Town center of Wuxi,the exploration of planning is made on how to respect and retain the original natural and human imprints in the landscape planning of new town center,integrate the landscape construction of new town center with local cultures and urban ecological cultures,make cultural re-creation,and form a new town central area that meets the functional requirements of modern city center and is full of historical memories and cultural symbols as well.
